Add to Cart: The Meal Prep Cookbook That Will Change Your Life
I'm so happy that springtime and warmer weather are upon us. With the longer daylight hours and lack of cold weather, I've started doing more fun outdoor activities like gardening and running in the yard with my dogs until the sun goes down. That being said, right now I'm focused on maximizing my time so that after work each day I can do things that make me feel relaxed and happy. In order to do this, I like to plan ahead by meal-prepping on Sunday afternoons.
Usually, I just head to Pinterest and Instagram to find new meal prep recipes, but this week, I found an awesome meal prep cookbook that's filled with ideas. Keep scrolling to learn more about the meal prep companion everyone should own, as well as seven other wellness purchases that are on my wish list right now.
Alo Yoga Movement Bra ($72)
Available in sizes XS to L.
I don't just love this bra because of its gorgeous strappy back detail, even though that is very appealing. I love it because I know firsthand that Alo Yoga's four-way stretch technology always delivers optimal support during some of my sweatiest workouts. The fabric is breathable and keeps me from feeling like a sweaty mess, even when I might look like one.
PE Nation The Knockout Full-Length Performance Leggings ($150)
Available in Size XS to L.
If you couldn’t tell from my preference in athleisure purchases, the majority of my wardrobe consists of the color black. However, I do look for pieces that have a little pop of color here and there. These leggings are the perfect option for people like me who can't commit to crazy rainbow-printed leggings but still want to wear something with a fun design.
Manduka Yogitoes 68" Yoga Mat Towel ($68)
When I make the rare decision to venture away from the color black, I normally go for shades of blue because they make me feel calm and relaxed. I would love to add this towel to my athleisure collection so that it can keep me feeling extra zen during my hot yoga classes.
Vimmia Credo Bralette ($79)
Available in sizes XS to L.
This sports bra is like a reverse mullet in the best way. The party in the front features a flattering deep-V design with a small cutout and supportive band, while the business in the back displays a firm racerback that will keep your girls held in during both low- and high-intensity training. If that's not a win-win situation, I don't know what is.
Wunder Workshop Golden Turmeric Honey ($10)
Fun fact: All I want in life is to be a beekeeper. I tell people this all the time, and they think I’m crazy, but I truly believe that bees are magical creatures and the healing qualities of honey fascinate me. I'd love to try this product that merges together natural powerhouse ingredients: turmeric and honey.
Vital Proteins Collagen Beauty Water Stick Packs ($49)
I've been looking for a product to give my hair, skin, and nails a little boost, and I think this could be the one. Ingestible collagen has been all over my Instagram feed, and I'm hoping that I get to try it soon and reap the benefits. Not only can you add this to your water each day, but you can also use it when baking to give your sweet treats some nutrients.
JoyLab Tie Back Tank ($17)
Available in sizes XS to XXL.
This affordable shirt from JoyLab is perfect for every kind of workout. I love the simple design and that you can tie the back tabs to give it an exciting new look. Shirts like these are workout wardrobe staples that everyone should own. Also, you can't beat this affordable price point.
Toby Amidor, MS, RD, CDN The Healthy Meal Prep Cookbook ($11)
I love to meal-prep. It takes so much stress out of my busy weeks and allows me to eat foods that are packed with filling nutrients rather than binge on snacks. I'm always looking for new recipes, and after judging a book by its cover, I think this could help me come up with some fun new meal ideas.
